22) Tusse de Remuñé

The Tusse de Remuñé was a southwest-facing glacier at the base of the Pico de la Tusse de Remuñé (3,041 m). Before splitting off as an independent glacier, it formed part of the easternmost end of the 23) Literola Glacier, which is why its characteristics and extent are described together with the aforementioned glacier. The ice of the former ice shelf was almost always hidden under a snowpack. It became extinct in 2006, leaving as proof of its existence a small lake, some moraine lobes and a consistent frontal moraine that belonged to the Literola Glacier.
