Between Pico Lézat (3,107 m) and Gran Quayrat (3,060 m) lies the frontal moraine of a small glacier from the Little Ice Age that reached 210 m in length and a maximum width of 290 m. The drop in elevation occupied by the ice must have exceeded 120 m between 2,800 and 2,900 m.
Its area of 7 ha makes it the smallest of the glacial formations that occupied this slope of the Perdiguero massif. Facing northeast and less protected than the Crabioules glaciers, the Gran Quayrat disappeared completely in 2012, although years later a residual remnant was located that remained attached to the wall of Pico Lézat for a few more years.
